Terms & Conditions for Pre-Orders
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the pre-order service offered by Boardgame Space ("we," "us," or "the Distributor") for tabletop games and other products available on our website. By placing a pre-order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Pre-Order Placement
1.1. Pre-Order Eligibility: pre-orders are available to all customers without the requirement of pre-payment.
1.2. Pre-Order Confirmation: your pre-order is considered final, and you will receive an order confirmation email from our system. Boardgame Space reserves the right to cancel or refuse pre-orders at our discretion.
2. Product Information
2.1. Product Details: information provided on our website, including product images, product descriptions, release dates, and pricing, is subject to change. We make every effort to provide accurate information, but we cannot guarantee the availability, pricing, or release dates until the product has officially reached our warehouse.
3. Release Date
3.1. Release Date Estimates: release dates for pre-ordered items are based on information available at the time of your pre-order. Delays in production or distribution can occur, and we cannot be held responsible for such delays.
3.2. Communication: we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of any changes to the expected release date.
4. Price
4.1. Price Adjustments: the pre-order price you see at the time of your order is an estimate. Prices may change before the product's release. We will make every effort to maintain the initially stated price, but we reserve the right to adjust prices to reflect market conditions or other factors.
5. Binding Pre-Orders & Payment
5.1. No Pre-Payment: we do not require pre-payment for any pre-orders. Payment will only be requested once the product is in-stock and is ready to ship in your next order.
5.2. Binding Agreement: by placing a pre-order on our website, you acknowledge that all pre-orders are binding agreements. You commit to purchasing the pre-ordered items when they become available.
5.3. Obligation to Purchase: you are obligated to complete the purchase and provide payment for the pre-ordered items when they are in-stock and ready to ship. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your pre-order and may affect your ability to place pre-orders with Boardgame Space in the future.
6. Cancellation and Changes
6.1. Order Cancellation: it may be possible to cancel your pre-order at any time before the product's release. To see if this is possible, please contact your Account Representative.
6.2. Changes to Pre-Order: you may request changes to your pre-order, such as increasing your allocation, updating to your shipping address or contact information, by contacting your Account Representative.
7. Pre-Order Timeframe
7.1. Limited Pre-Order Window: pre-orders are subject to availability during a specified time window, which will be clearly mentioned on the product listing. This timeframe may be months in advance of the product's official release date.
7.2. Expiration of Pre-Order: if you do not place your pre-order within the specified time window, you may no longer be able to pre-order and guarantee the allocation of the product.
7.3. Post-Deadline Pre-Orders: if you wish to pre-order a product after the specified pre-order deadline has passed, please contact your Account Representative. They will guide you through the available options.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. No Liability for Delays: we are not liable for any delays in product availability or delivery.

10. Adjustments of Pre-Orders
10.1 Cancellation: although BGS will endevour to procure all products from every pre-order, sometimes certain prodcuts may not arrive in our warehouse. In the event that pre-ordered units are insufficient, or certain products may be limited or out of stock from the Publisher, BGS reserves the right to cancel the pre-order without liability.
10.2 Allocation: in the rare event that BGS receives fewer units from the Publisher than the total number of pre-orders placed, we reserve the right to allocate available units based on factors such as the order placement date and/or to evenly distribute products to all those who pre-ordered.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1. Amendments: Boardgame Space reserves the right to update and modify these Terms from time to time. We will inform you of such changes, and any such changes will be effective immediately upon posting these on our website.
By placing a pre-order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Your use of our pre-order service is subject to these Terms, and we encourage you to review them periodically in case of any changes.
